Cinematheque Box Office
Cinematheque’s box office is located in the Artspace lobby. There is ample space around the box office in the lobby and there are clear sightlines for people, with the counter coming up to 31” in height.
Theatre
Access to the theatre is made through a single door to the left of the box office. The door measures 36’’ wide. Once inside the theatre, a slightly-sloped ramp (52’’ wide) leads to the seats. There is one spot without a seat designated for wheelchairs/mobility aids/strollers/accessible seating, located immediately to the patron’s left when they reach the top of the ramp. The theatre floor is slightly-sloped toward the screen to ensure all patrons have clear sight lines. Each row of seats has an aisle space measuring 27’’ wide. The seats themselves measure 21’’ from arm-rest to arm-rest, with a cushion measuring 18.5’’ by 18.’’ If this seating is inaccessible for you please contact Cinematheque staff (cinematheque@winnipegfilmgroup.com 204-925-3456) and we can arrange an alternative chair to be set up in the space reserved for accessible seating/mobility aids.
Closed Captioning
Cinematheque is equipped with closed-captioning services for our patrons with hearing impairments. Not all of the films shown at Cinematheque have the closed-captioning feature, so interested guests are encouraged to contact us before they come down to the theatre. If closed-captioning is available, we have 4 sets of glasses that display the captions to the guest that are available for use upon request.
Accepted Payment Types
We accept all major credit and debit cards. Currently, we cannot accept cash at the box office. If this is a barrier for you please contact nic@winnipegfilmgroup.com and we will work to make accommodations.

Website Accessibility
We are committed to making our site accessible to the largest audience that we can.
In order to do this, we use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. These guidelines explain in great detail how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and more user-friendly for everyone. The WCAG 2.2 guidelines have three levels of accessibility (Level A, Level AA and Level AAA) and we have chosen Level A as the target for this website. We have worked hard to achieve our accessibility goals and we will do our best to continue to produce accessible content in the future.
