Rated 18A (Unrated)

One man, a room, and the Sahara, in this symbolically charged film, Frank Cole casts himself in the role of a man on a quest for immortality.

Frank Cole (1954-2000) is an icon of independent Canadian filmmaking. He focused his singular vision on the production of a few intense and uncompromising films.

In 1990, Frank Cole became the first North American to cross the Sahara Desert alone on camel from the Atlantic Ocean to the Red Sea. It earned him a place in the Guinness Book of World Records. His documentary, Life Without Death, chronicling the 1990 solo crossing won prestigious awards and was released theatrically in Paris. In 2000, Cole returned to cross the Sahara again. In October he was found, murdered by bandits outside Timbuktu. – Moving Images Distribution
